Liquid Nitrogen is used to
freeze and embrittle the product, which is then shot-blasted with
Poly - carbonate media. This removes the excess material and leaves
the product flash free. The process has no permanent detrimental
effect, as all of the physical attributes return when back at ambient
temperature.

The alternative freeze trimming
method is that of 'Barreling', this process is much the same as
the previous method but does without the need for shot blasting.
Relying solely on 'contact' finishing where the products hitting
against each other removes the flash.
